The Damaging Effects of FOSTA/SESTA

The crackdown has already begun and FOSTA/SESTA is not even law yet. Here are the numerous things that happened beneath this horrible bill.

>Craigslist shut down their Personals section.

>Reddit took down subreddits such as Escorts, Sugar Daddy, Sex Worker.

>Night Shift shut down their website.

>TER took down their ads but reviews are still up.

>CityVibe is gone

>ASexyService is gone.

>Microsoft updated their TOS so sex workers can no longer use Skype for independent camming.

>Facetime, Hangouts, and Ooovoo are following suit with Microsoft.

>Instagram went FOSTA style with their TOS.

>Twitter is shadobanning and shutting down sex worker accounts.

>Google is shutting down accounts of anyone discussing sex or using Drive to distribute adult content.

As a result of all this mayhem, many sex workers have moved their websites to offshore hosting. I deleted my accounts on both MyFreeCams and Chaturbate since both sites are hosted on US servers. The only public cam sites I know of that are hosted on offshore servers are LiveJasmin and Bonga Cams, neither of which I am signing up on. For now, I am using Cam On Demand which is owned by Goddess Cheyenne. I am also using Webstram as a backup. Webstream is an offshore cam and phone site. I encourage all models who wish to be independent sign up on both Cam On Demand and Webstream. Promote the hell out of them to your fans and get them to sign up as well. Better safe than sorry!
